First up, did you know that since February 2022, there’s been a whopping 900% increase in web searches related to AI content? That’s right—even before free AI tools like ChatGPT hit the scene, interest was already on the rise, with a significant 270% surge between February and August 2022. It’s clear that AI-generated content is capturing people’s attention and it is just a beginning.

2. AI Taking Over Business Strategies

52% of business leaders are already leveraging AI for content creation, and that number is only expected to climb, with projections indicating that by the end of 2023, 64.7% of them will have experimented with AI-generated content. It’s becoming increasingly clear that AI is no longer a novelty—it’s a necessity for staying competitive in today’s landscape.

3. Marketers Riding the AI Wave

Generative AI has rapidly gained traction in marketing, with a significant 73% of B2B and B2C marketing executives utilizing it for content creation, including text, images, and videos. 

Notably, 49% of those surveyed rely on AI for final content production, while two-thirds use it for brainstorming and initial drafts. Image creation leads the way at 69%, followed by text creation at 58%. 

ChatGPT emerges as the most popular tool, used by 55% of respondents, followed by Copy.ai at 42% and Jasper.AI at 36%. The survey, conducted in March with 1,000 B2B and B2C marketing professionals, sheds light on the transformative impact of AI on marketing strategies.

Out of B2B and B2C marketers surveyed, 31% of those who haven’t yet adopted AI are planning to do so within the next year, and another 46% within the next two years, so we will see more of creative content.

From the financial side of things, the AI marketing industry is poised for explosive growth, with projections indicating that it will reach a staggering $107.5 billion by 2028. That’s a massive jump from its current value of $15.84 billion.
